finally

I've been saying I'd make my friend's little girl a kimono using this ( http://habitual.wordpress.com/ ) tutorial, and finally got around to it this morning. I had just enough dark red fleece left over to make not one, but two! I figured even if I don't know the gender of this little Mouse, red is still a pretty good colour to go with.

I love mushrooms! Appliqued a little felt one to the front, might go back and add more detail later. For now I just want them to be finished!

Oh how cute! I love that you did it out of fleece - you're an adventurer! If you make the sleeves longer, and use fleeces and wools, you have yourself a little coat! ;)

Very cute.....

Now, what is going on with those little fabric bowls I see down below....I must have one of those. I love them.

Actually, I am still wanting to add a little extra cuff of dark brown to make the sleeves full length for winter! Wish I was small enough to fit into it ;) Now I'll have to venture into using a few summer fabrics and see how I go.

I'm glad you like the boxes :)

Love the kiddie jacket! Hopefully I'll be making stuff for little people someday.

Now back to the buckets - how did you make the innards fit the outside? That part has been too small on all 3 of mine and thus causes an unwanted pleat! I will try again today...
